2020 ASA Meeting in Washington, D.C.

Dear Colleagues-

Registration for ASA LEGISLATIVE CONFERENCE in Washington, D.C. is now open, and I encourage you to participate in this year’s meeting, which will be held May 11-13, 2020.

The purpose of the LEGISLATIVE CONFERENCE is the prepare ASA members with the health policy foundation and skills to effectively advocate for patients in the legislative and regulatory processes. Your presence on Capitol Hill is incredibly valuable to policy makers. You and your experiences make a hug impact on your lawmakers, giving them invaluable insight and letting them know that when seconds count, physician anesthesiologists save lives.

You are already fully aware of the stakes. As an advocate, you know how important advocacy is to our work to advance the practice, secure the future, and most importantly protect patient safety. That’s why you should attend ASA’s LEGISLATIVE CONFERENCE 2020.

The Conference registration fee is $300 ($125 for residents) for each participant. Registration is available to ASA members who apply through their Component Society.

A block of hotel rooms has been reserved for Conference registrants at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill. A special rate of $339 plus tax is available until the room block closes on Monday, April 13, 2020. Prior to booking, all Conference attendees are encouraged to check with their state component society staff or designated registration representatives to clarify if they need to make reservations on their own.
